THE VALENTINE MYSTERY 1981. 30 x 33.5 x 6cm One-of-a-kind Wooden book with hinged and painted pages containing found objects, numbers, geometric shapes, collaged phrases cut from newspapers, etc. A monoprint is mounted on the front and the spine is covered in leather. Transparent muslin is pasted over the inside covers. When first exhibited, this book was attached to an old-fashioned school desk with a painted chair next to it, inviting visitors to sit and browse.
