1986. 14.5 x 25.5 cm Edition of 25 plus 8 copies Hors Commerce. Text hand-set in 14pt Plantin by Stanislaw Gliwa and printed by him on an 'Arab' treadle platen press at his private press in London. One of the last projects undertaken by this well-known and appreciated fine printer before his death. Bound by Brian Settle in boards covered with dark blue, silver-flecked Japanese paper with title and line drawing blocked in silver. A bedtime story invented by John Forest for his then ten-year old daughter Sarah who illustrated it with seven line drawings. I transferred these drawings to zinc plates, etched them, adding aquatint, and printed them on buff Velin d'Arches.
